I recently finished reading Marley & Me: Life and Love with the World's Worst Dog by John Grogan, the story of the yellow Lab who changed the life of his owners forever. When I put the book away, I was in tears and interested in the breed and also in the differences between the English and the American Lab. After all, the Lab is one of the most common breeds in this country. See what I found and don't miss out to read the book for your self on a cold winter night cuddled up on your fire place. You can order it at Purrfect Pet Store under Paw Prints. Have fun and find out more about Labs at Woodhaven Labs. |

Owning a horse is a big responsibility. It requires a commitment of both time and money. A new owner should be prepared to spend time grooming, exercising, and caring for the animal - or assume the responsibility to see that the basic care will be performed daily. Unless the horse is kept on the owner's property, travel time to and from the stable must be considered. The costs of owning a horse can add up quickly as the owner provides shelter, feed, veterinary medical care, hoof care, and riding equipment. |
